Chef George Patti is Chef/co-owner of M.E.A.T. Eatery and Taproom and the newly opened S.A.L.T. Fusion Cuisine. He was the Chef and Co-owner of the top rated Upper Florida Keys restaurant, Tasters Grille, from 2009 to 2013. These restaurants have been featured in USA Today Travel 10, Travel + Leisure, Tasting Table, Social Florida Guide and Florida Travel and Life. Chef Ron Kerr developed an affinity for the kitchen at a young age, as he prepared dinner for his family nightly to help his working parents. His first job at a restaurant was by the time he was 13 starting out as a busboy. After attending the Florida Culinary Institute for chef school he has been executive chef at some notable restaurants; Marker 88 in the Keys, Georgie's Alibi in Wilton Manors, Sunset Beach in the Hamptons, all places that expanded an honed Ron's talents in the kitchen. His latest endeavor is the Bite Gastrotruck, with a menu of gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries and addicting milkshakes. This menu makes perfect sense as his burgers won the Riverwalk Burger Battle winner in 2010 and 2011 and grabbed a spot in the top 100 burgers in America.

Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar is an upscale burger restaurant offering gourmet burgers combined with perfectly paired wine selections. In 2003, he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Portland State University. Intent on becoming a part of restaurant culture, he joined Pacific Coast Restaurants and started to really understand how the restaurant business worked and what dedication and passion it took to really succeed in this business. Burt and Max's Bar and Grille Chef Dan Moore

Dan Moore leads the chef team at Burt and Max’s after being promoted from sous chef to executive chef in June of 2015. Spending most of his younger years overseas, Chef Moore has been exposed to a large variety of food, culture, and ethnicities. He graduated high school from the American School of Milan in Milan Italy in 1990 before he went on to graduate from Johnson & Wales University in 1994 with two degrees; AOS in Culinary Arts, and BS in Food Service Management. Moore began his career in a sous chef position at Harvest in Cambridge, Massachusetts, lauded for its classic New England Cuisine followed by a 2 year run in Harbor Springs, Michigan where he was Executive Chef at Blue Corn Grille. He then spent over 12 years in North Carolina working first as the Executive/Corporate Chef with Cino Grille and Pacific & Vine out of Charlotte. Followed by an Executive Chef position at Jerusalem Garden in Asheville before taking on the position of as an Executive Chef at the Doubletree Hotel. At Burt & Max’s, Moore brings his own flavor to the modern American concept by using bold techniques and interesting flavors. His style is displayed in the seasonings, presentations and ethnically diverse specials that he offers. “I’m a firm believer that food must LOOK good in order for it to TASTE good. I cook with my heart,” say Moore. His cultural background and travel experiences explains his passion for bold flavors, bright colors and unique presentations. His favorite influences come from; South East Asia, Mexico, Middle East, Italy, and South America. His desire to be a chef is credited to his parents. Aside from the exposure to international cuisines, they were both great cooks. Growing up in a home that was built around great food, Moore has many fond memories of his parents cooking for friends and family, whether it was a dinner party or sleepovers for him and his two sisters. In his free time, Moore enjoys fast cars, big watches, the beach, and cooking for friends and family. He resides in Boynton Beach with his wife Faryl , four boys; 13, 9, 4-year-old identical twins, and a Great Pyrenees named Brie.

Giving up eating meat wasn’t easy for me. Most of my favorite restaurants became impossible to eat at. Health food or fast food it seemed like everything I enjoyed was out of reach. At first I found comfort in some of the prepared food and meat alternatives you find at health food stores. Most of it was frozen par-cooked or pre-seasoned and anything decent was high in sodium leaving me with little room for creativity in the kitchen. Eating became a mechanical process of heating up one thing after the other and in the end I lost my passion for cooking. Unsatisfied I was determined to bridge the gap between comfort food and a meat-free diet. That‘s when I began experimenting with plant-based meats and after months of botched recipes and a few more months of torturing my family with samples I developed Atlas’ signature Vegitien recipe. Not quite seiten, Vegitein is flavorful all the way through the last “meaty” bite. And best of all it was prepared using traditional cooking techniques with equipment you could find in your own kitchen. A year later my wife and I opened Atlas Meat-Free Delicatessen with a stand at our local farmers' market and a menu full of meat-free options. Two years later here we are ready to share our story and our family of products with you.
