His first job at a restaurant was by the time he was 13 starting out as a busboy. After attending the Florida Culinary Institute for chef school he has been executive chef at some notable restaurants; Marker 88 in the Keys, Georgie's Alibi in Wilton Manors, Sunset Beach in the Hamptons, all places that expanded an honed Ron's talents in the kitchen. His latest endeavor is the Bite Gastrotruck, with a menu of gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries and addicting milkshakes. This menu makes perfect sense as his burgers won the Riverwalk Burger Battle winner in 2010 and 2011 and grabbed a spot in the top 100 burgers in America.

They will be serving Zeppoles Spadini's Mizner Pizzeria is a classic ‘pizza place’ al fresco style. Spadini's is located on the South Side of Mizner Park in Mizner Plaza on NE 2nd Street. The dough is shipped in from up North a few times a week making the dough a perfect New York taste! With sauce made fresh daily and over 20 toppings to offer, Spadini’s has specialty pizza pies (or by the slice, too) like Lasagna, Spinach and Cream Sauce, BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Margarita, Grandma's (Sicilian with Sauce on the top) and Crostino Pizza (sliced tomato with homemade mozzarella on a Sicilian dough with a drizzle of balsamic oil & basil). Oceans 234 Victor Franco

Born and raised in South Florida, Chef Victor Franco has worked for some of South Florida’s finest Chefs. After graduating from The Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Victor went to work for Chef Mark Militello on Las Olas Boulevard. After Marks Victor moved on to The Riverhouse, one of Fort Lauderdale’s most historic landmarks. There he learned the importance of using the finest ingredients, as well as sharpening his skills preparing veal, seafood and produce. Since then, Chef Victor has apprenticed in Maryland as a Pastry Chef, as well as a Personal Chef for foreign dignitaries and Local Politicians. After two and a half years in Maryland, Chef Victor returned to South Florida. Recently Victor has become the new Executive Chef at Oceans 234, Deerfield Beach’s premier oceanfront restaurant. By combining all his experience and adding his personal touch, Chef Franco has elevated the Oceans 234 menu far beyond anyone’s expectations!
